Friday I thought CBP was a goner, but Sat and Sun have had me thinking the Arky powers-that-be, calm down Jeff Long, and that the school will sell it's soul for Ws.
Reward bad behavior in keeping Petrino, making the girl rich in hush money, give the fiance a lottery ticket for his lost wife, public humiliation, and probably setup a soft exit strategy to another job for him, since they are keeping homewrecker around the Ath Dept hallways instead.
The LSU fan in me is wanting Dukke V to come give this thread a big PEEJ CAPSLOCK guarantee that CBP keeps his gig.

Yeah, it was pretty obvious when they went with the paid leave thing. They're just waiting out the storm and making it look like he was punished.
I think most schools would have fired him, but Arky knows they'll not get another coach on his level.

As of last night I was told he would be kept but severely punished. Pay cut, his buyout extended but the UofAs buyout requirement lessened, 2 game suspension and some other controls put in place to keep him in line. I don't know if he'll accept those restrictions though.
I still think he needs to heal and then have a good ole arse whipping.
