If this happened at Miami we would have to close up the program for 5 yrs. We can't get away with shite.
I predict 20 scholarships over 3 yrs, 2yr postseason ban, and 5 yrs probation.

I could see the NCAA accepting say 15-20schollies/3yrs, 1 year bowl ban and cleaning house with FB staff + reduction in recruiting

I would say the same thing, except that it is likely them saying, look, we're fighting some of this, but we know we are getting hit with some of it. We accept that there will be a bowl ban at minimum so we are going ahead and getting a year of that out of the way while we fight.
That's how I take it when schools self impose but intend on fighting.

Fighting it is generally pretty stupid. NCAA usually is pretty reasonable if you show contrition. Once you waste their resources, gloves come off

DownSouthJukin, I presume that the names of these boosters are known, so if so, will there be any actions taken against them by the university? Either when the smoke clears or any time soon? How far up the food chain of big time boosters are these guys?
