We're talking about relevant teams.

I would say the armed forces in the USA are the most relevant teams of all.

America's team would have to be a universally liked team. That is not Alabama, or ND for that matter. Alabama sells a shite ton of merch and has a huge bandwagon but there are just as many people that hate them as love them imho.

Notre Dame's football program is followed and supported by Catholics all over the nation. The number of sister-frickers is significantly lower, so the answer is no.

Bama is hated like the NY Yankees used to be hated but recently FSU has stolen some of the hate. There will never be an America's team in college football because regional allegiances are too strong.

University of Alabama. 4 square miles surrounded by reality. The rest of the nation thinks of you by the crazy redneck fans that you have.

Harvey Updyke is literally the only lunatic fan anyone outside of the south knows. Rival fans are really the only ones who talk about them. Bama is known as a football school that wins often.

No is the correct answer. The only people who really care about Bama are a few people in Mississippi, 2/3 of the State of Alabama and maybe a few people living in SE Tennessee, as well as that worm Finebaum now in Charlotte, other than that, most of the nation does not really like you all that much. You can find huge Notre Dame types in disparate places like NYC, LA Seattle and St. Louis. Sorry to burst your bubble

The rest of college football's perception of the tide is personafied by all those moronic bama callers on Finebaum's show. Family on the West Coast & in Ohio say that their calls are replayed on all the sports talk shows out/up there & the mockery & ridicule of alabama fans is hilarious. A nephew at Northwestern in Chicago told my sister that a lot of the frat houses there have afternoon beer blasts just to listen to the bama fans going ballistic.

Your success of late is only because of Nick Saban. NOTHING to do with the school at all. Saban won a natty at LSU.
