Glad I tested well enough for the Air Force. If balls on your head is tame, I'd hate to wonder what was the norm.

Yea, I wish they wouldn't have prosecuted so only one life was ruined, and that's not even considering the teabagger's wife and kid.

Tea bag a drunk and its a sex crime in Louisiana. Film sex with a 14 year old if you're an 18 year old football star and its minimized, justified, and rationalized.

and the best part is after all was said & done the d-bag couldnt even apologize for his actions. all he could say was he hadnt even considered his victim because his own life had been turned upside down. pathetic isnt a strong enough word.

Downing, for his part, says no other media outlet has asked to hear his side of the story. He also says he hasn't really considered the man he tea-bagged much at all. "Nothing malicious toward that person," he says. "I just haven't thought about what he's going through because of all the chaos that's upside-down in my life."
what a pathetic piece of shite

so only the victim's life would be ruined? does that seem fair?
normally we tend to empathize with the person who was the victim

Yeah, I just finished the article and it's fricking disgusting. I will say that based upon the article the Bama fan named Ellen Cassin who cock blocked two other Bama fans before being pulled away/prevented from cock blocking the 3rd guy who tried it and ultimately the perp who did it deserves a round of applause. She did the right thing before he subhuman bf (the original attempted teabagger) prevented her from stopping the fun a 3rd time. Fact of the matter is that if the victim had been female folks would see this for what it was -- not all -- but I do think more would see the violation and not say it was 'just a joke.' This was sexual battery and if he'd do it to a man in public he'd do it to a female too and probably do far worse to her (escalate from battery to flat out rape).
It's sick and shouldn't be condoned no matter the circumstances or gender of the victim lest we forget that little kids used to be blamed for being victimized by pedos.
I despise the crimes of sex offenders of all stripes and would be as guilty as anyone of wanting to torture or string up an offender by his balls if he dared touch a friend or loved one whether adult or child, but I don't agree with our overly broad and permanent sex offender lists (beyond highly controlled ones that schools/daycares etc. should be able to access so that they don't hire pedos and offenders deemed to be at-risk of repeating their crimes).
This man (and others) deserve to be on a list for a crime specific period of time that's not permanent but appropriate to the crime and I think that if the list weren't permanent he'd have received a more appropriate sentence, charge, and conviction instead of being given a plea deal.
Most on these lists are capable of reform when given the appropriate sentence and treatment -- a lot of sex offenders are either victims of past abuse or committed offenses due to particular circumstances (statutory rape, peeing in public, exposure, hazing etc. are prime examples that land people on the list depending on how bloodthirsty a DA is). Overly broad and permanent living restrictions are another empty gesture that makes society feel better but does nothing.
Guys don't like to admit it when they're victimized as it so often leads to other men questioning their masculinity and/or making fun of them. BUT this male victim was just as victimized as any molested child (male or female) female rape/battery victim.
If we're going to change our attitudes towards rape and sexual assault it really does start with men and incidents like this. If we could start changing those attitudes, rapes that are witnessed by men and rape rates in general might just start going down and match the rest of the Western world as it starts with realizing the damage such things cause as well as the heinousness of sexual battery, assault, and rape.
NONE of these crimes are funny or cool regardless of victim. We can and should do better.
tl;dr - people wouldn't defend this had it been a female or child victim + harsh punishment but a chance at a 2nd chance depending on the circumstances minus law enforcement being able to keep a list and certain jobs where contact with potential victims is probable being able to access said list.

I was satisfied with Browning's punishment terms.
He spent many a month in a Louisiana jail, where justice was prolly served over and over and over.

What he did was wrong but the La DA overplayed it because he was butt hurt. He took out his hurting over the loss on the guy. People get probation on much worse crimes.
