Alabama too.
I hate Auburn, Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss equally.

And Florida and Texas A&M.

The only teams I don't hate are the ones that the Hogs have no troubles beating.

So give it a couple more years and I'll officially remove LSU and Ole Miss from my list.

Not sure how this thread turned into an Arkansas/Auburn shite fest. Completely unexpected.

Ehh, AU posters commented on the OP. Certain Arky posters, rather than debating the merits of the AU posters' criticisms, responded by shitposting about AU and Malzahn.

We should win 8 regular season games. But we do play UF from the East and pick up TCU picked 2nd in the B12. Not easy by no means. The West is loaded for bear and anybody can beat anybody. Most Arkansas fans like our chances to compete well in every game we play, but know we will lose some hard fought games.

Just think Bret has finally built enough depth to give every team hell!

I think most of us begrudgingly admit that Bret's a pretty solid HC.

It just seems unlikely that Arky will be able to consistently compete for the SEC West title so long as Bama and LSU maintain their stranglehold at the top. The occasional good years from AU/Ole Freeze/MSU/TAMU will further diminish their prospects.

IMHO, Bret could lead the Hawgs to a consistent 8-9 wins a year, with a chance of breaking through to 10-11 every now and then, which wouldn't be a bad place to be. But to expect him to win an SECC, given Arky's historic disadvantages, is probably unrealistic.

Don't disagree with any of this. Bert is a great coach if he is able to avg 8-11 wins each year here. I would also add that its pretty much Bama and everyone else when it comes to the West. LSU/Auburn might break through every once in awhile but its not going to happen often while Saban is there.

I still don't see the disadvantages for Arkansas. A great coach can make a huge difference. We are signing players from 14 states. No,we are not loaded with talent
of the states like some of our schools sits in. But, we handled LSU,OM with loads of talent. Bret does a great job of coaching up players and they play hard and smart.
Talent will only take you so far, heart, smarts and great coaching makes the difference. Arkansas has that!

i don't expect winconsin success here. .

i think to a man if you asked 100 fans on this forum most would expect bert to get us A SECC within the next 10 years. i'm cool with that.

that won't do it. we were fortunate as hell to get a coach of his ability given the situation we were in at the time. i don't think even the PTB at Arkansas are stupid enough to get rid of him.
