Essentially, what are your expectations of this year's team and if those expectations aren't met, should Bielema be on the hot seat?

FWIW, I think Arkansas is a dark horse to win the West this season. But, any season can be potentially disappointing in the wake of incredible preseason hype, and vice versa.

It's proven they accept mediocrity. 4-5 wins would probably put him on the hot seat, IMO. 7-8 wins and all is peachy in Arkansas.

Has he won 8 regular season games yet since he's been in Fayetteville?

That would be auburn who extended and gave a HC a raise after a very mediocre season recently.

Actions speak louder than words.

Didn't AU just give an extension to a coach who won 2 SEC games a year ago?

As a smack talker what would wear thin would be another slow start with a mediocre finish while yapping about other teams, leagues, offensive styles, schedules and so on. Rex Ryan type stuff. Starts to wear thin.

After a 6 win season, yes

If you actually believe we won't fire him if he doesn't get above 8 wins in the next two years then I don't know what to tell you.

Nothing, Arky fans are so giddy over him that they don't mind 4-7th place in the West.
