Bert did just say that Arkansas doesn't have any national championships, so the hogs should now drop all claims to 1966.

Good thing we don't claim that one

Seems to be some conflict as to if he said National Championship or Championship as in SEC.

I think he needs to win at least 5 total with at least 1 of those being SEC wins or 4 total with at least 2 sec wins to keep the fans in his corner. Just an outsiders opinion.

ETA: also, i think he will do so.

How else would we win 5?

With anywhere from 2-5 SEC wins.

So at least 1? Gotcha.

Yeah, I added the "at least one" just to make it mirror the "or" scenario. Originally i just had it as 5 wins assuming everyone could figure it out, but I have lost faith in the ranters.

I agree with your numbers, btw - I'll be disappointed with anything less.

So you really didn't pay much attention to the games is what I'm gathering.

I think it will be very interesting in seeing how bert fares in the SEC. I personally think he is in over his head in this league. I also would have taken Leaf over Peyton and had high hopes for Kiehl Frazier.........so what do I know?

I remember when we used to have Frazier vs. Allen debates back in the day

no doubt arkansas improved as last year went along... the two real bad losses to USCe and Bama were early in the year... the rest of their SEC games were competitive games.

I really feel like he needs 4 years to see what he can do. I see coaching hires as investments, and especially with the Petrino and john l smith situation, you give them time to come in and get their recruits a cycle through.

Honeslty, I think they harder sell could be if we win just 7 in year 3 over winning 5 this year

I think we are ahead of Ole Piss in recruiting this year so far. Huge Froze better get after it!

Picking a fight with Auburn was the worst mistake of their lives.

I'm recommend focusing on a different sport from now on. Things are only going to get worse.

I won't turn on him but I'll need to see 2 SEC wins to maintain any faith in his ability to be successful in the SEC.
