We are pretty patient compared to other fan bases, we gave f-in Houston Nutt 10 years.
We saw Petrino struggle his first 2 years then won 21 games over the next 2.
If Bert is still sucking after year 4 there will start to be rumbles.
I bet Auburn turns on Gus before we turn on Bert though....watch.

At what point this season will the hatred start? 0-2 start in the SEC? 0-3, 0-4? I personally think Bert will do fine this year but I am wondering when the melt would start

Bret's buyout almost ensures he'll get a third year... but if they struggle again, Jim Chaney should be fired... his play calling last year left a lot to be desired... he's an average at best OC.

I could happen, but this is about as united the auburn fanbase has ever been... even more do than after 2010.

Saw Bret first hand at Wisconsin . He has a good system but curious if his devolving of low ranked guys will work as well at arky as did at Wisconsin

I don't see him being disliked as an issue.
Everyone hated Petrino, but he got some wins and then his record became more important than his personality.
I don't know why ppl are already convinced he's terrible. Petrino builds teams with no infrastructure, look at Louisville after he left.
If he goes 0-8 again, or only gets 6-7 wins in year 3, that's when the majority will have turned on him
