So you're averaging offensive, defensive, and scoring stats together... Interesting and unique.

You've achieved your objective of being the dumbest fricking poster on this board. By god your parents must be ashamed at such stupidity. I'd hate to think my kids ever turned out as stupid as you.

Did you fricking average out Passing Off, Rushing O, Scoring, and Defense?

Holy shite... Just when you thought you have seen it all

Why not throw into the average FG made, FG missed, TO, 3rd down conversions, Rush D, Pass D, 4th down Conversions, etc, etc, etc, etc...

What a fricking IDIOT!!!!!!!!

I don't have an issue of providing stats that show how a team has performed over the course of a year. However, this quote:

quote:

the numbers show that LSU isn’t as good as everybody makes them out to be.

is making a statement that stats only cannot provide a determination. If you've seen LSU play any game this year (yes, include WKU), you'll see that LSU is clearly the best team in the country.

ARKANSAS VS. LSU
Team (Pass/Rush/Points/Defense/Avg. Rank)
Ark (11/73/13/30/32)
LSU (99/30/18/2/37)

how is this objective when you overemphasize offense, and forget special teams?

at least do pass d/run d/scoring d like you do with offense

I cant even comprehend how this guy is defending this meaningless drivel... I seriously can not grasp how retarded you have be to take that much time out of your day to come up with something as meaningless and useless as this ranking system you just compiled.

May God have mercy on your soul.

I’m not surprised by the knee jerk reaction by LSU fans. They may not want to admit it; however, the numbers speak for themselves. All I've done is taken readily accessible numbers and placed them in context.

No, you cherry picked a small segment of stats. I hope for your sake your just trolling… Either way this thread is full of win.

So what? My scenario was based on a team being #1 in all offensive categories, not only 3 of 4.

And he said the #1 defense and #1 TOTAL offense could be ranked 30+ in your silly analysis, which is true, as demonstrated by hypothetical team A.

And you would rank that hypothetical team A at 30.75, and call it an "objective" analysis? Seriously?

Bottom line is that Arkansas plays right in to what LSU wants. One dementional offense & bad defense. You will see the same end result of Arkansas Alabama game. LSU is too deep, too fast, and too strong.
