Well this settles it. Arky >>> lsu.

That certainly seems to be an objective analysis.

Here's my analysis. you nearly lost to two mediocre teams.

If you were not lucky, you would have one or two losses already.

However, since Kniles Davis is coming back, I see Ark in the light of that, and do not hold onto the past.

You were the one who invited us to look back at the past.
Based on what you did in your SEC games vs mediocre opponents, I would not have any concerns about meeting you.
However, life goes on and the past is not going to be prologue, because Kniles is the REAL DEAL.

Bring it piggies. I am glad you have your best player back.
Makes it a bigger game. You will actually have a chance.
So be it.

Nothing in Arkansas' makeup says they could defeat two top three teams away from home. That's for starters. LSU has beaten six teams that were ranked in the top 25 at game time; Arkansas has beaten 4 ranked teams(which ain't bad by any means). Six of LSU's opponents rank in the top half of the FBS in total defense. Four of the Hawgs opponents rank thusly. LSU has played three of the upper tier offenses in the country and Arkansas, two. LSU's margin of victory is 25.8 compared to Arkansas' 17.3, all while the Tigers have played the more potent offenses and more of the better defenses in the country. In sum, your analysis sux. Thanx for playing.

So what? My scenario was based on a team being #1 in all offensive categories, not only 3 of 4.

rushing: 1
scoring: 1
defense: 1
passing: 1

Average ranking: 1

You should slowly exit this thread, not post for a few weeks, and hope people forget you ever started this thread.

I think you've definitely eclipsed the Top 10 Rantard list now.

OK, let's be honest here...There are so many key factors that are overlooked in stats. You want to talk about "context", yeah right. Re-examine the "context" in which these numbers have been derived. Your opponents may have winning records, great def. & off. stats, etc., but AGAINST WHO?

Just one of our opponents -(Oregon)- has beaten their opponents -(Arizona State, Cal, Washington, & Stanford)-, of which all 4 teams would destroy all but 2 teams from your schedule.

It's laughable to even try to make an argument for your schedule against ours.

Now how about you use all defensive categories.

Simplified

LSU can stop the run very well and rush the ball very well. Arkansas cannot stop the run. There is a reason LSU is a 2 TD favorite.

LSU 41 - 16

What is most crazy about this stat is you are still sitting at 3rd in the west. Congrats on being statistically # 1, you get a big "don't give a frick!"

I have achieved my objective. Thanks to everybody for playing. I'm looking forward to seeing the epic meltdown in Louisiana if Arkansas wins.
