Strike out? It was an ACC or Big East caliber recruiting class. It's not like they had lofty expectations. This is exactly what happens when you have a class full of 3 stars who look decent in a system and then the system is gone.

No bullshite, Tubs' last couple classes produced about 8 graduates per I think. It was ridiculous and Chizik's first class has really shite the bed too at this point.

Auburn was highly ranked by recruiting "experts" yet what is their excuse?

I can understand some coaching turnover but not sure I see what else is wrong..

Carroll will get swallowed up in the SEC. Take Butch Davis. You will be on probation in 4 years but he will win some games

Arkansas always gets the collective leftovers of the southeast.
And aTm can still only beat them when they switch the entire coaching staff after a nationally broadcasted meltdown.

And a team with a redshirt freshman quarterback who has only played 4 college games in his life, new schemes on both sides of the ball, and a first year coaching regime completely annihilated your buttonhole?

Petrino's 08-09 classes were enough to recognize Petrino's eye for recruiting his system. You can't talk shite about a guy who turned a 5-8 team into an 11-2 team in three years.

Along with Jacksonville State's QB, ULM's QB, Bama's QB, and Rutgers' QB. He isn't special.

Did you even read what he said about the players - is the bulk of them even still being on the team considered a 'lofty expectation'?

I'm not interested in riding a massive roller coaster when we are a top 10 money program and almost all the facilities are in place including 82k+ stadium expansion coming. A small roller coaster is fine, much like Auburn, but not massive highs and lows.

we suck so bad :(

See, here is where shite gets weird. Auburn blows. Im an AU grad, I know we are not what we could be.

I still see Arkansas as having a Ton of talent but presently not well coached and with very little game plan.

I dont really know who will win here. Part of me wants Arkansas to beat shite out of Auburn so that those with coin can make some changes. However if we win by a small margin, or lose by a small margin, nothing will change at Auburn.

personally, I am looking at TAMU to come to Auburn to bring the corrective measures. I have no problem with Chizik per se, but I think Loeffler is an abortion.

Losses to UGA and Bama can be explained away.

(take this with a 14 lb grain of salt...Im just feeling negative right now.)

5-8, 8-5, 10-3, 11-2. What roller coaster are you talking about? We fired our coach. I didn't expect it to be this bad, but now we know just how much of our success really was on Petrino. I understand people don't like him for what he did, but while he was here, he did his job and he did it well. No one can take that from him.

Adorable.

It's as if you don't know how fricked you really are.

But I'm actually pulling for y'all. I think y'all can ascend to a level equivalent to the Nutt era in ~5 years.

Coming from an Aggie with every built in advantage in the world yet can't produce a 10 win season since 1998. While we've had 3 and two of them back to back.

This is why making fun of Aggies is so damn great. Every advantage in the world and they continue to screw it up.

Cobi Hamilton knew where to go to see what it felt like to have double digit wins in a season.

I wouldn't know because people like me don't stay over night nor have a sheep fetish like Texans.

Bring me something more challenging.

Franny Cakes and Sleepy Sherm have that effect on a program.

Sunhog, all I can say is that Saban swore he wasn't going to Alabama, too.

Gruden may have no intent, or may not have had any intent, but things sometimes can and do change.

Looooooooongshot? Maybe. But never say never.
