Paul and Garrick have nothing to do with the reasons for which I want Petrino fired, so why should they automatically be disqualified from consideration? I bet you're right that if Petrino is fired that they will go outside his coaching staff to find the next caoch, but I don't think it makes sense to say Garrick and Paul shouldn't even be considered due to Bobby's personal decisions that they had nothing to do with.

Know what makes Saban jizz? Crystal footballs, that's what.

And the worst part? I think we, as ROHTAHD fans, can deal with that.

If we kick petrino out for this then Paul and Garrick won't consider us. Hell I doubt any coach that has worked with petrino in the past would coach here.

I am torn. If we can replace him with a solid coach, I am fine with letting him go. His recruiting was OK at best and it definitely just got worse. He is a genius on the field and an incredible developer of talent but he took us for idiots by trying to cover this up. I could not care less who he screws in his own time but he hired a frick buddy, lied about it to us openly and his AD privately, and to me most importantly it all happened during spring training.

I care about winning games, but this will cost us some recruits for years, will be a constant distraction, and shows he isn't one hundred percent focused on winning games. Even though he is a great coach, I think we can get a better complete package.

Not only would they not be considered, I would bet good money even if they were they would not entertain the opening. You're a POS if you try to take the job your best friend or brother was just fired from.

But with that said, I expect a hefty fine and a multiple game suspension. I think if they planned to fire him they wouldn't be allowing contact with the staff.

For all Hogs wanting petrino fired..... here is what will happen when we fire him

1. we will hire a worse coach than him (It will happen because who the frick are we going to hire this late in the game, gus bus?)

2. This year is for sure ruined and our recruiting will be fricked. So pencil us in for several years of fail.

3.Next offseason Petrino will get his pick of salary and any open job in the country.

4. Other school will call us dumbasses and probably let him hire jessica down there because does it really fricking matter that much?

So he cheated on his wife with another university employee and then lied about it. Is it just too much now?

Uhhh...not quite. He hired a woman that he was screwing around with to a university job and then promoted her after said affair. Gets people fired and institutions sued all the time. Just wait until Dorrell says that Petrino made her hiring/promotion contingent upon screwing him.

Its pitiful that you fricking care.

He screwed a girl, lied about it. Big fricking deal.

No, he fricked a girl, who was fricking another superior in the athletic department.

Big Whoop.

Uhh...no. He didn't frick a girl who was fricking another superior. He fricked a university employee that he hired and then promoted her to a better job after fricking her. The fiancé was not her superior.

This except 10x worse. Ark. is in the little leagues compared to the Gumps!

While the original was certainly true, why stop there? I went ahead and fixed it up a bit.

I'm looking at the big picture, not just the next couple seasons. And it's not like this is an isolated incident. I don't want to keep this guy on and just wait for him to screw us over again.

He doesn't give a frick about Arkansas.

The hire will depend on how deep the scandal goes, if it is proven that he had a pattern of abusing his power for sexual gain, they may be forced to hire a clean cut guy like Mike Sherman as an image saver

And she was more qualified for the new position than the guy she replaced, Dann Kabala. He went back to PITT.

MBA, record fundraiser while woking for Razorback Foundation, former Razorback athlete...she had this job locked up whether she was doing Petrino or not.

Then be realistic before petrino got here football has been shite since frank broyles quit leading the team out. We will go back to that....is that what you really want...really.

we went out and decided to play with the big boys and get a mercenary coach, just because you lied to yourself and thought this about more than winning football games for 3 mill a year doesn't mean he should be punished.

This is what I assumed. There were no real flags raised with the hire so I figured she was just fricking petrino to frick petrino.

I posted her background versus Kabala's on another board last night but no one cared. They are still running with rumors that the position was created for her and she was making 100k. Both which were easily proven wrong.

It took me a couple minutes on Google to find all that out but rumors are way more fun.
