Just remember, Shannon with all the recruiting advantages in Miami, still couldn't win shiite even while Shapiroing. Maybe he learned how to cheat better and maybe all those Miami athletes will now leave the state and head straight for Miami.
I hope you guys do get better FWIW. The West needs some pressure applied on Bama, LSU, aTm. You need to make the third place team nervous.

Randy Shannon is a top tier position coach. Anyone who thinks this isn't a peach of an acquisition for Arkansas is nuts.

I don't hate Arkansas. I want you guys to be better. I've stated this all along. Shannon is a low character guy based on his blatant lie. He may be a good position coach but I don't think he's someone I would want representing my school of choice.
For the Tiger above, you don't say. He still has to recruit and he seemed to need a Shapiro type fellow because he couldn't sell success on the field.

I like Cheshire, Lat, Sao and a few others. I like some of your uniforms. I like that you guys push the West big boys occasionally. I love your record against UF.

you're calling a college coach a douche and a liar. you could say that about a coach on any staff in the SEC and even in the BCS. You act as if we're selling our souls to bring him on board and I'm just reminding you that the moral fiber of some of your past head coaches (I'm too lazy to even look into your assts- like Shannon is) is nothing to boast about.

What's that mean? Spurrier was a great coach and never got into trouble. He just like to verbally assault UG, UT and FSU.
Meyer was rumored to be unethical in recruiting and he may have been. I never saw the NCAA guys in Gainesville. Having said that, I didn't like Urban's offense, his demeanor and certainly didn't like his lie about wanting to be with family.
Shannon's lie was a horrible thing to do to his best friend's family and really stupid to tell try to sell that lie to recruits.
Boom has proven to be above board in every way so far. Pot smokers no longer have a haven in G'ville. The Urban way of managing "injuries" is over.
