are you talking the beginning of the season before we lost 3/5th our offensive linemen, or now?

No one is saying that now, but there were a lot of arkansas fans feeling it was their year before Petrino turned out to suck at driving a motorcycle as much as he does at being a human being.

that's quite an excuse there. Are most lsu fans pushing this one as the reason they were wrong about their preseason expectations.

Their expectations this year were BCSNC or fire coaches. True story. Prior to the BCSNC last year they were "the best college football team of all time."

How does this guy not have a defensive coordinator job somewhere? Or did he and fail?

It will help Arkansas more than they'll ever know. Or maybe his best friend will get shot in either Baton Rouge, College Station, or Gainesville, even though Walter Odom died of an illness when he was 36. Nice going piggies!

The flagship hasn't had time to have marketing create the company line about the above yet. The spin will be beautiful.

I have no idea what your babbling about and it has no relevance what so ever to Shannon's coaching abilities.

One thing that does however, per wiki so take it fwiw, Shannon had only 1 player arrest during his HC tenure at Miami, during that span there were 30 player arrests at UF.

The Canes were too busy hanging out with Shapiro to get in trouble.

IMO Shannon is a good hire at LB coach. He should be able to land some Miami area recruits.

Well no shite, why would anyone think this is the best Lsu team ever at this point in the season? You can bet your arse that most Lsu fans thought they would win the NC this year because the only thing holding you back was shitty quarterback play, and Mett was your messiah.

Then you lost to a bad Florida team and choked against Bama. Of course it's not the best team ever.

They should have lost to UL-L, they needed a fluke play to beat them.

Babbling is what piggies do best. It has everything to do with his character however. He was willing to lie about his best friend's death in order to throw some recruiting mud around. That's the type of person you are getting on your staff. I don't think it bothers you guys at all though.

If you need to use arrest records from coaches that aren't on our staff any longer as an argument then it's telling.

What do you honestly think about the lie he told? You think it's a sign of someone with high character? Just address Shannon if you don't mind. You don't need to add anything else at this time since this thread is about him.

I am honestly curious about how you guys are going to rationalize this. I wouldn't want someone around our program that would stoop so low to use his best friend to negatively recruit.

IMO, it shows he is not only a liar but a dumb one because the facts were easily discovered.

This is a good start for marketing to work with.

Do you guys have a Shapiro type fellow to assist ole Randy? You may need one.

I hope so. I'm sick of being outbid for players. Surely between the new guys from Miami and Tennessee we can figure out how to pay players.
