Amazing athlete that played out of position.

He would literately outrun guys who had angles on him.
It didn't help that he had very long strides so it looked as if he wasn't moving very fast.

A completely worthless degree in Communication and a minor in Education. Naturally I don't work in either field. Remember kids, ask yourself, what degree would Arksulli get... and then do everything possible to make sure that isn't your major.

I had a few classes with football players, Arkansas was a smaller school back in the day, and they were all pretty nice guys that were easy to get along with.

ETA: Darn it that was supposed to be a reply to TA. I need more caffeine.

You beat me to this. Dude was a whole lot faster than he looked because of those long strides. He was a bad man.

For once I agree with you Serraneaux, there are enough good Vols posters that for the most part you are just an embarrassment to yourself.

One of my favorite plays. The dunk to top it off is just too baller. I remember watching this live when I was in the 8th grade. Jones was pulled in the middle of the third as backup Robert Johnson coasted the Hogs to a 35-3 snoozer.

Still more impressive than Josh Dobbs' statistics.

And a great example of a Matt Jones type play, just sort of cruising along so he almost looks like he's jogging... until you realize he's pulling away from a DB who is going flat out.

You don't want to go there. Compare their sophomore seasons,

Dobbs has more rushing TDs in 8 less games and has a better qb rating than Jones did.

:)

Also Dobbs had about 300 less yards passing and 200 less rushing than jones did albeit in 8 less games

:)

Matt Jones has two more eye brows than Dobbs.

Jone's pulled mad pussy on earth, Dobbs is a hit in X-45-A, I'm told, but it is a small population.

Thus Jones wins this argument.

Matt Jones in Malzahns offense, he would have been a Heisman winner. He is one of the top athletes to ever play in the SEC. His results at the next level may not show that but he was a freak.

No doubt about it. He had 65 catches through week 12 and never played another snap in the league due to his arrest. He was on pace for 80+ grabs and 1,000+ yards all while not giving a frick about being there.

In terms of watching him play. Not best as in best stats. One too many buttchugs for the Volol over here.

Do us a favor and stop embarrassing yourself and us as a fan base. Enough is enough.

I'd love to hear how a 6'6 250 white guy that ran a 4.3 and was drafted in the first round as a WR is not one of the greatest athletes from the conference. Do expound.

Or how a 6'4" 219 white WR that ran a 4.5 and was drafted in the first round as a QB...

In many of his college games, Jones started as a WR while a who's who of shitty QBs started. Arkansas would fall behind, at which time Jones would go under center and try to make a comeback.
