and not sure why you are so adamantly against this. A. it's not your money and B. if he sucks so bad shouldn't you be happy he's staying a while?

Yea agreed, I like to rip on them but I've always thought that Bielema was a good hire and he's done a great job so far

From 0 SEC wins to 2. I agree that's drasically improved for a school like Arky. Raise is justified, no doubt. Congrats

Like I said in the other thread, part of the reason he earned it had to do with the off the field stuff like our team having its best grades in decades and not having an arrest since he's been here.
That kinda stuff goes into consideration along with the football side of things

I'm not bashing bert one bit. I think he is doing his job at Arky. I'm just saying the school over reached in extending him this off season. They had no reason not to wait one more year to make the decision with another year of evaluation.
Good job by bert and his agent. Not a great move by the school. Like I said, if Bert continues to improve the program the point mostly becomes moot.

Arky did improve. I will not deny that. However, you can't get past the fact he has 2 conference wins. That gets a coach on the hot seat and possibly fired at other schools. Instead, Arkansas throws him a fat raise and extension. I don't see how they can justify this move with the current circumstances.
If they had waited a year, and if Arkansas had success to some degree, I would understand it.
