Maybe some SEC fans can help me. I follow SEC football pretty closley, especially LSU. Im of course an Ohio State fan as well as the Big 10.

Im aware of the success that the SEC has had especially with LSU, Florida and Alabama in recent years. Auburn this year is having a great season. I was unaware though that somewhere through this I missed Arkansas becoming a national powerhouse.

Ive been reading alot of posts by Arkansas fans and they are a very confident bunch.

Do other SEC fans consider Arkansas a national power now?

We don't even consider them an SEC power (Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Florida, Auburn are all higher than them, they are on par with South Carolina).

Nope. The only national powers are Alabama, LSU and Florida. Tennessee has the ability to be one (they were in the 90s). Arkansas is barely a regional power.

they are a function this year of having a senior future first round QB -- they're not in my book the SEC elite -- yet

ask Herbs your favorite alumni, he would consider us an SEC power house. Does that count as a National Power? Not until we kill the SUCKEYES then it probably will.
