Most places, I imagine.

Alabama. Most teams stay in Birmingham.

Auburn. Plenty of teams stay in Columbus, Ga.

I'm sure there are others.

Those that don't stay in Columbus stay in Montgomery.

Where do visiting teams stay when playing there?

Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, State. Not sure about Georgia. Arkansas I'd assume they stay in NWA since nothing else is really nearby. A&M?

Teams stay in Columbus, MS when playing State (or at least used to).

From what I have read, away teams almost always stay in Ocala when visiting UF.

Yeah. Arkansas. Most stay in Rogers or Bentonville.

Even Saban takes the team to Birmingham the night before big games.

I think more of them stay in Montgomery than Columbus.

I thought they did this for all games now. Stopped staying at the Capstone Hotel altogether.

I think LSU stays in Montgomery or maybe Columbus when we play at Auburn. Not sure about when we play in Tuscaloosa or Fayetteville.

If I was a visiting team fan to Florida, who wouldn't take a cheap direct flight to Orlando, rent a car for the game, and hit Disney or Universal until time to fly home?

There is a resort at Lake Conroe that a lot of visiting teams use for A&M, or they sometimes just stay in Houston. It is easy to land any size charter jet at Easterwood in College Station, but I just think most visiting teams like to be away from the madness of game weekend until it is time to be there.

That's where we stay. Can never remember the name of the hotel but it's nice, white stucco, located right off the highway that leads to Gainesville.

Teams the come to SC stay in Columbia.

Clemson is lucky enough to have one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation so we have people visit who aren't even watching the game.

So you are new to football. Every single road team does not stay in the opposing team actual town. Hell, most home teams do not stay in town the night before the game. Auburn goes to Montgomery.

If teams stayed in Killumbus, there's a 100% chance they'd wake up to find their busses were stolen and thus would be forced to walk to Auburn.

Correct and plus I wouldn't put the Clemson campus in anybody's top 25 so I can't imagine anyone wanting to
"Visit" unless the y lose a bet other have some type of business. NOT including lake Hartwell visitors in this group.
