Yep. Jessica's too, although she put herself in the position to have her career tanked by sleeping with her boss.

Yeah, she didn't do herself any favors. She had her cake (fiance) and ate it too (boss). Too bad she didn't consider the fact that the cake would eventually disappear and she'd get hungry again.

Here are some who didn’t want him fired:

Just hours before his dismissal, several Razorback fans had told USA TODAY Sports they ardently supported retaining Petrino.

"I hope he stays. He's a winner," said 72-year-old Judy Grisso. "I don't want to judge his indiscretions. We've seen so much of this lately, everywhere. Who are we to judge?"
Said Shod Neely, an industrial engineering major at Arkansas: "I honestly don't care who he has sex with. It's irrelevant to me . . . I'm more worried about going back to losing than anything."

"Obviously, he was stupid, but I'm more concerned about winning," said Mark Thompsen , a 33-year-old former Army sergeant who served in Iraq and is pursuing a criminal justice major at Arkansas. "All I care about is beating Alabama and LSU. If we beat them I'm okay with it, short of him stringing someone up."

See, they don't get it! It's not about the sex. It's about the HR issues of failing to follow policy and hiring his side piece to a subordinate position! Doesn't matter if he's the football coach, the Alumni Director or the head of the English Dept. If they made an exception for his policy and contract violations, they could never enforce those policies again. HR issues aren't exciting, but they'll get you fired for stuff like this every time.

it's the same shite several Ark fans that have posted in this thread were spouting yesterday before the PC. Nothing earth-shattering was introduced outside of the 20k and the no. of applicants.

Shows depth of character and a real commitment to the quality of their football program. No coach, living or dead, is bigger than the football program he serves.
