I'm excited and a heck of alot of other people is as well according to the ticket prices. Seems like to me you're taking for granted the opportunity and privilege it is to have your team play in a BCS title game. Go to bed and dream about the Dave Archer, Curley Hallman and Jerry Dinardo days. You'll wakeup in a better train of thought.

Ticket prices aren't really a good indicator, especially a month before the game. Stadium only holds 70k, so of course demand will exceed supply, especially with a team an hour away and the other team 5 hours (?) away.
And of course any sane fan of the teams involved will be as excited as possible for a NC game, no question. But I imagine the casual fan or the fan w/o a dog in the fight will not be as excited at this matchup as some other possible ones. If you're a fan of points being scored (as most people are outside the SEC), then this is going to be a snoozer.

compared to the other NC games I've watched over the years, there is simply zero excitment this year.
it's like watching the same action movie twice. I already saw the dang movie.
nobody wanted to see a rematch except for desparate Bama fans.

Lets see. Saban helps get LSU and to the top. He leaves. Then goes to Alabama. Alabama fans laugh at LSU fans. Everyone says Les sucks and can only win with Sabans players. Of course you were excited.

I am more excited/nervous about this game than the other 2 (2003 and 2007). Call me crazy but I fully expected LSU to win those so there wasn't much suspense for me.
This game is close to a toss up. Beating Alabama has always been special just because of their rich history. Add to the fact that beating Saban is icing on the cake.
LSU has a chance to win their first BCS title with a perfect season and Miles has a chance to shut the media up about all the Saban love.

mostly agree, outside of ESPN, ESPN really wanted the rematch and lobbied hard for it IMO.
I am excited to see the game but I would be even more excited to see LSU play another top opponent they hadn't played yet. I'll be pretty happy if LSU manages to win and finish perfect tho, maybe even Mike Tyson level ecstatic

Not nearly as excited for this one as the others.
I think it's a mix of "we already played/beat them" and the fact that we've won it twice already"
I really wish we could win it in Pasadena one year. Sure it's awesome to win it in your own backyard, but the venue is getting tired for me.
