Except for the wins, National Championships, SEC titles, divisional titles, and average rankings

You have no idea what you're talking about.

My dad has had season tickets since the 80s and I've been going to games since 1992 when I was 4.

My first game was actually against Ole Miss in 1992.

One team was not ranked and the other is ranked #2. So I'm sure you can figure it out retard.

What national "titles" before 2007?

1992?

I kind of look at it like y'all got caught late and Auburn got caught late by the NCAA in those few years. Auburn was BY FAR the better program in the '80's... Pretty even in the '90's... And before Saban, was far an away better in the early 2000's.

You don't know what you are talking about.

I know if we subtract the Saban years, you were very young and didn't really know, but c'mon.

Bama was 7-3 against AU in the 90's and went to 5 SECCGs between 1992-99

You do realize that you have no way of winning this debate don't you? You might want to talk about division records or October records but NCs is many pay grades above your hourly role.

Yes. One is more than zero.

Nope. Bama still won a ton of games. 4-6 for the decade after Curry lost 4 straight and got fired, Dye went to the mountaintop (which is 10 wins for Auburn). Overall the programs were very even. And that's the greatest decade in Auburn history, and the worst for Bama until the 2000s.

Holy shitballs. Not even close. Bama went 7-3, won way more games, a National Championship, won the West five times and the SEC twice. Auburn won the west once and zero SEC titles or NC's.

Literally the only time in history Auburn had a clear edge

You're the one whose young and doesn't know a thing. I was there, in Bryant-Denny Stadium every Saturday during the 90s.

Auburn would have been in three Seccg's if not for their probation which eliminate an undefeated season. Could've actually beaten Florida.

How many of those did Bama win between 93 and 99?

Bama would've gone in 2002 if not for probation

Two, which is two more than Auburn

All the smack talk aside, here's the reality. I...and I assume most Bama fans...are more pumped for this game than the Tennessee game because it's #4 vs. #2 with a possible playoff bid hanging in the balance. The fact that it's LSU adds more to it, of course, but make no mistake...if we were playing a #2 ranked Clemson, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, or whomever, we would be more hyped about the game than the Tennessee game.

But never make the mistake of thinking that all of that means that we hate Tennessee less. Or Auburn.

7-3 is good, I thought it was a game or so closer.

Not to mention the fact that during the 40 year stretch when we did not play, Alabama was usually good-to-great, while Auburn, more often than not, was putrid.

No one gets pumped about playing a team coached by a lesbo named Lyle.
