It is fricking annoying. It is like when the big kids have a kick arse game of back yard football but your little brother will cry to mom if you don't let him play.

Thanks for dummying it down for us Einstein. By the way, you have to go farther back in time to when LSU sucked (7-15 in 1998 and 1997) than you have to go back to when Bama sucked (10-15 in 2003 and 2004). Good luck getting national respect when your signature win is against that orange team that you've beaten 9 straight and whose best record in the last 8 years is 7-6. I'm sure being able to drum your "rival" every year is very self-gratifying.

I admit...... I consider LSU more of a rival than I do UT, even before I joined here. I get the hate behind TSIO, but I just can't get excited for it. Maybe it's because they haven't beaten us since 2006. Idk.
Now as for LSU, that's a different story. Doesn't take much effort to hate them.

It had its moments, but Tennessee-Alabama hasn't meant much since the early 1970's.
The only game I have been to every year since 2007 is the UT game. It's the most important one to me and it's the game I enjoy going to the most, especially when we win.

Carolina Tide is a good poster. If thats his experience, great. I can only speak from my lifelong experiences as a Bama fan. Again my parents and inlaws had one game they wanted to go to this year more than any other, and that was UT. My aunt went to LSU, my Dad has always loved y'all and LSU is pretty much my second favorite team in the league. Those things are unfathomable to me regarding AU or UT
