No one expected him to play the season opener. K'Lavon Chaisson is a true freshman and has been killing it in practice. He will probably play in Keys spot. Along with Ray Thornton possibly. Chaisson is the superstar waiting to happen though.

Any info on Chaisson's current weight? He was a monster in that prep all-star game but he looked awfully skinny for SEC play.

No word on his weight but Orgeron has said that he's dominating in practice and scrimmages. I'm sure he's around 230.

Smart move to sit him if he's just now getting into pads for practice (still no contact). He's not needed in the game, guys like Chaisson and Thornton should still be able to get the job done especially with their weak tackles. Rather have him all year don't risk him day one

You might as well sit him till MSU week 3. He is literally the key to LSU defense.
