i think you're right they did go away but iirc they're back or were back a few years ago- seems like i read an article during the recession about them. it seemed an appropriate comment to the mississippian tho.

It was very well done But I Am confused about whether he was bi etc? They are both married with kids so clearly not gay but they way they presented it left it kinda open. Not that it really matters a ton but curious. I was in that chant sad to say but just because I hated him not sped icily gay bashing

it's just what happened then- it wasn't even meant 90% of the time as a reference to someone who was even gay.
holy hell the first time i was (knowingly) around a group of gay folks i stupidly ranted about my old high school principal and called him a 'fig'. i almost passed out as soon as it flew out of my mouth- then everyone died laughing.
