Who was the post player Duke had in 1992? We played them in the Final Four and he called Oliver Miller, Fat Albert.
That was actually when my Duke hate started.

Did they mention that he flipped LSU fans off before the game? Because he did. It was all rather strange how crazy agitated the student section was by tipoff. Totally over the top. Dwayne Schintzius of UF was treated worse.

Because Florida state was number 1 in football and came to tiger stadium a couple of months earlier and did the hooooooooomooooooo seeeeeeexualllllll and did it again against duke

Is anyone surprised that Arkansas fans are in this thread talking about Arkansas when the documentary had absolutely NOTHING to do with them?
Pathetic, really.
But, I guess that when your golden age in sports consists of 3-4 years over 20 years ago in basketball and a season back in the mid 60s in football, you grab hold of whatever you can.

Christian Laettner was definitely a polarizing figure to say the least. Good player though.

The names of the guys on the team were all really easy to pronounce. Hill, Lang, Ast, Meek, Parks. Doesn't really sound like any of them, either. Are you sure it wasn't Laettner himself?
The only other guy who could it possibly be is Alaa Abdelnaby, but he had graduated by 1990.

Michael Jordan's hate for Isiah Thomas was the reason the whole College player gimmick evolved. Not fair to any college player.
Thomas on that team would have been the perfect roster....but I hated him more than Laettner.

Have family in Durham so I grew up a huge Duke fan ... Attended Duke basketball camp as a kid, worshipped Grant Hill, the whole 9 yards... I remember being called a homo and a racist as a kid just for being a Laettner fan... I thought the show was really well done.
