shite if I thought I had a chance to get him if I were ND I'd fire Brian Kelly tomorrow and offer Urban a 6-8 yr deal at 10 mil/yr.

Him beating Saban in the playoffs cements his legacy for sure.

I thought he was at least as good as Saban before this season. This season showed just exactly how damn good he is at offensive coaching and more specifically QB coaching. There isn't a better offensive coach outside of the pros in football.

I wonder how he's going to react if Jim Harbaugh starts to beat him?

I don't think this is reactionary. He has a 12 year track record that exceeds every other coach in college by a pretty wide margin no matter how you look at it.

I'm guessing Sabans record is right up there with him. 4 NC 6? Sec.
Either way. Only if Pete Carroll comes back to college will anyone else keep up with their hardware.

he will fake another heart attack if Jim starts to beat up on him. Then he takes a year off, comes back and gets revenge

3 national titles before age 50.

9-2 in bowls.

38-3 at OSU. 7-0 as an underdog.

142-26 career record

If you're going to list all of his accomplishments you need to add at least one more.

Totally fricking over Florida and leaving them dangling in the wind for 4 years.

Have to agree, He has made the Big 10 relevant once again. but definitely no offense to my dear friend Nick but Urban is the best right now.

I just loved how USC fans at one point were changing three peat and soon after they had nothing.

He just won two national titles and 4/5 conference titles.

Plus a Super Bowl kicker

He is certainly, IMO, the best game day coach in the country right now.

It's the little things, like knowing when to go for it on 4th down, knowing he needed to run that one last play before the end of the third quarter last night, etc.

He is the best. Credit where it's due. He makes it happen everywhere he goes.

Not to his undefeated season while tOSU was on probation or we might be talking about his 4th right now.
