Meteorologists have told Saban in private they are willing to beat any offer made by any organization that removes him from the SEC west, in fear of the repercussions of a MASSIVE potential Jizz-Storm in Louisiana.

I love college football, but a Super Bowl is better than anything that college could possibly do for a coach. You haven't even begun to see the spoogefest that ESPN is about to rain all over Carrol as the greatest coach ever. The titles at USC (however many there were) will just be fodder in propping him up. Footage of him holding the Lombardi Trophy will be burned into Saban's nightmares.

Sabans main strength, and what makes him a great coach, is recruiting high school kids. You don't recruit high school kids in the NFL.

He has said over and over that he didn't like the NFL because you were punished for success (winning players command higher salaries and you draft later) whereas in college there is no punishment. I don't know why this keeps coming up other than people wanting it to happen

Nope...he will be at Bama a few more years and retire...probably work in some capacity for ESPN after that I would imagine.

He can't succeed there. If he had one of his fits andgot into the face of one of those linemen or coaches, they would lift him off the ground by his neck.

No.

NFL players don't like being processed.

College players have no choice.

It's amusing to watch folks conjure up reasons for Saban to leave the SEC and relinquish his stranglehold on the conference. Is he that intimidating to the rest of the league? I notice that nobody ever worries about Les or Gus going to the NFL...wonder why.
