11-1, then SECCG. Back to playoffs, revenge on OSU, Natty.

If their QB fails to be the game manager that they've had in the past, then yeah they will be in trouble.

Bama hasn't had a true game manager at QB since 2011 in McCarrons first year. Coaches turned him loose in 12 and 13 and Sims was anything but a game manager last year shattering all passing records. So yeah, not really.

Bama didn't get any pressure on Bo last year which is why its secondary got exposed. Maybe A'Shawn's developed some burst over the offseason.

Meh, looking at the stat sheet Bama dominated the game. Two missed FGs and OJ not going up for the ball on the last play were the difference. Ole Miss had 3 points at the half, and 10 entering the 4th quarter. Bo looked like Dan Marino in the 4th quarter but still only threw for 250 the whole game. Not sure that equals our secondary getting exposed. We just didn't make the plays that were there for the taking and OM did. As far as a pass rush, I expect to see more Evans and Tim Williams on passing downs and both of those guys are terrors coming off the edge.

That proves my point that they could fold. If they lose 1-2 of their first 5 games that woukd kill an unproven team's confidence...which could lead to them dropping one against Arky/aggie/Tenn then they could drop the iron bowl and boom 8-4

I guess 8-4 is possible for any team in the country if the wheels come off. That said, I see no way Bama loses 2 games out of the gate. Saban will claw out a win against a less talented Wisky team, and OM has a beating coming in BDS in a revenge game. Now UGA, yes. But Bama starts no worse than 4-1 which makes 8-4 VERY unlikely.

That's a tall task for any team replacing their starting QB, WR, and RB.

This is the type of thing that always grinds my gears. Having stars at offensive skill positions is literally the worst predictor of college football success possible. They're the easiest positions for freshmen to pick up and learn; look at Mark Ingram, Julio Jones, Amari Cooper, and TJ Yeldon for Alabama over the past few years, or Nick Chubb, Todd Gurley, Marcus Lattimore, or even Fournette. QB's a little trickier; bad QBs can sink a team (Florida 2010-14, Texas 2010-14, Auburn 2012), but depending on the offensive system, an average QB often produces better team results than a star QB. Of the last 10 SEC champions, 7 had first-year starters at QB.

If you say that our retooled secondary or offensive line might come up short this year, you have a point. But saying that replacing offensive skill players would lose us those games isn't very astute.

I hope they're undefeated when the Big Orange rolls into Tuscaloosa on 10/24

I think it would have to be really bad for the wheels to come off --- something like injuries to center and rbs and no good option at qb. Even if so many bad things happened early, I would still think it would only amount to three losses.

I think there's a better chance Bama goes 8-4 than 11-1 this year

It's like ground hog day again preseason predictions of Bama's demise. Every year there's no way Bama can replace the lost talent/players and state eyed rival fans predict it's finally the year that Bama folds.

Yet, 12-2, 14-0, 10-3, 13-1, 13-1, 11-2, 12~2 happen. Here we are once again, after what 5 #1 recruiting classes in a row, a stacked with talent roster, the best coaching staff and a team who's hungry for another shot at the CFBPO. Sorry but Bama isn't gonna fold, isn't going to lose 4 games and will put the 5th nail in a row in lsu's coffin of becoming irrelevant.

Get dreaming of the downfall, that's all you can hope for is a dream.

I feel sorry for those pathetic souls whose season is influenced by their hope that Alabama will fail....very few happy times.

The offense is definitely a work in progress, but the defense is going to be ridiculous. Bama has a two deep front seven that is second to none. The corners will be very good after a year of experience. Moving Jackson to safety to compliment Geno makes the secondary very experienced and capable in pass coverage. The only concern in the secondary is lack of size at safety for run support, but the front seven is huge and fast and should offset any concerns at safety.

On offense, RB is a question with Henry being the only bruiser with experience. Drake is a HR type back but isn't great between the tackles. Harris is going to have to pick up the slack until Scarborough gets healthy. WR is ridiculously talented, but lacks experience. I don't think QB will be a issue because Kiffin will play to their strengths. Anyone who could make Blake Sims look like a legit QB will have no trouble with the guys we have at QB.

And Bama has JK Scott. The best punter in the NCAA.

Unlike ND who does fold like a frigged HO on Friday night. Unlike ND who makes up girl friends and then get exposed. Unlike ND who folded by half time 28 zero to BAMA in 2012.

Frigged HO's only at ND. If you do not have to make them up. Right Teo.

Alabama has real good looking girl friends like AJ McCarron Hot Smoking Wife. Teo's girl friend turned out to be a guy pretending to be a girl and Teo folded.

Unlike Teo who was exposed for his air tackling and folded. He could not tackle Eddie Lacy a Louisiana product. He could not tackle TJ Yeldon and was blocked all night.

So to say Alabama will fold is wishful thinking on your part.

There is a chance for a bad year with maybe four losses. They struggled to beat bad teams last year and they've lost a ton of talent on offense. They have problems at RB. Henry is extremely slow off the mark and often looses yardage. Nicky is already moaning and making excuses for last year.

TideJoe the offense will run the ball more this year and create a 2011 type offense. 50/50. Kiffin is onboard for another outstanding year. Alabama with a 3rd QB last year got to the Play-off. No other team besides by Ohio St. could pull that off. Not ND, Not USC, Not Georgia, or anyone else for that matter. Our QB will be Coker and he has put a smile on Coach Saban's Face. When Saban was ask about his QB Coker a smile came across his face. Last season that smile was missing. Alabama will be a force this year and make the Playoffs and have a solid chance at winning it all.

Look Sonny you know absolutely nothing. Henry has good speed and hard to tackle. Alabama has the best RBs in the SEC. It is not georgia. I remember the 2008 BLACKOUT Game. The Georgia farts were all like we are number 1. At half time (31-0) everyone knew Georgia wasn't number 1, maybe number two in the head. Alabama Offense is better this season than last. BAMA got to the playoffs with a 3rd string QB and Georgia lost to Florida. Talk about your team meltdowns. So you just keep making it up Sonny and believe your own crap.

Alabama's program has reached the point where if we go 10-2 people will laugh at us for the "bad" season we just had.
