I think Ole Miss will have the biggest drop off this year and Texas A&M the biggest improvement. Alabama is Alabama. They will reload and be around the 10-11 win mark. I think Coker will be no worse than McCarron or McElroy ever were and Kenyan Drake will be Kiffins new renaissance man.

That's fair, and I think A&M's saving grace is its schedule on top of chavis doing a good patchwork job. I don't think ole miss takes a step back unless kelly and buchannan suck and injuries.... I really like Arkansas but that schedule stands in the way. I'm on my phone so yeah this is a cluttered post

The schedule is certainly set up to where if it rains, it could really pour. Brutal schedule with no time to get a QB ready. We are really going to need the secondary to step up and play dominant defense to have a chance at a second playoff berth.

They replaced a 3 year starter who won 2 NCs and fell off to a sec championship and a playoff appearance.

Uh, I don't see 8-4 with all the talent and Saban.

Wisky without Melvin Gordon will be a slaughter. Georgia and OM not so much.

I'm sure Bama front seven on D will fold in half whoever ole miss staring QB is.

Not much chance. Too much talent, and too consistent of a coach.

nope, not a chance.

Mexico will become the type of utopian dream that immigrants from around the world flock to before Bama folds this year.

Bama didn't get any pressure on Bo last year which is why its secondary got exposed. Maybe A'Shawn's developed some burst over the offseason.

I expect a bit if a drop off from Bama this year. They'll still be among the best teams in the conference, just not the best team.

I'm expecting 9-3 with 8-4 & 10-2 not outside the realm of possibility albeit unlikely.

UGA, LSU and someone else will finish ahead of them.

If their QB fails to be the game manager that they've had in the past, then yeah they will be in trouble.

8 - 4 is possible but very unlikely for two simple reasons:

1. Alabama has better athletes than every team on their schedule.

2. Alabama is a confident team with confident coaches and a confident fanbase.

The most important element in any endeavor is confidence - and Alabama has more confidence than any college football team.

That proves my point that they could fold. If they lose 1-2 of their first 5 games that woukd kill an unproven team's confidence...which could lead to them dropping one against Arky/aggie/Tenn then they could drop the iron bowl and boom 8-4

It does look like a very tough schedule. Alabama will need to be ready out of the gate.
