So Auburn lacks character. What else is new?

your team insisted on playing a football game in a hurricane, pitched a fit when it didn't happen, and still managed to lose the game

then hired the line coach that lost the game for you

I bet you tried to use your female hands to give yourself a pat on the back for that one, didn't you..

I saw him play several times in high school. He may not have been a top 100 player but he wasn't far off from it.

My guess he uses his female hands for other things.

Well they can't really take work ethic into account. A lot of these guys had everything handed to them in HS and didn't have to work that hard. You can't always get away with that in college.

And I would absolutely take two redshirt freshmen that provide depth and have potential.

Just saw that. Wonder if it's related to Jackson though?

BM said in that same thread that had nothing to do with Jackson. He didn't have an explanation for him leaving at all.

We recruited Character pretty hard at the end once Champ got here.

I remember that. I guess he made the wrong choice.

Jackson was probably moving to OL. He apparently just wasn't working out or working period on the DL.

Character was a good player, and would've played. I think he had some off field stuff. He also had a hard time qualifying, so there might be something there as well.

This is the yearly exodus of players at important positions after signing day and before the season (literally the worst time for this to happen).
I agree, this is just the annual purge AU seems to have most years. Kind of odd to have 3 freshmen leave within the last couple of weeks, but I sure CGM has things under control.

Redshirt Freshman, who realized that their playing time is going to be limited. What is odd is when upperclassmen leave when they never see the field, to make room for the next signing class.

One or two of the transfers could've seen quality PT this year. They're also still redshirt freshmen. Of course their PT may be limited at this point in their collegiate careers. Because all three could've been useful two or three years down the road, our depth chart for the future is taking some hits.

They're Redshirt Freshman, it's normal for their PT to be limited at this point, right?

Like I said, I'm sure CGM has a handle on this. He's been a HC for 5-6 yrs, and as long as he's replacing 3-4*'s with more 3-4*'s it's no big deal.

True, its not like he is running off 5* that he promised to get to the NFL. so he can sign HS players to replace them. It would be a big deal if that happened and those HS coaches keep sucking his dick.
