Bryant and I already called dibs, as we are in range once we step in the gym

And Releford and Steele will likely be back

yeah Green and Mitchell still suspended. I would guess its because Green's already been in trouble once.

Probably so. Florida doesn't exactly have a dominant post scorer, but Young is still good enough to take advantage of Jacobs and Engstrom. I'd say we have about a 1 in 3 chance of winning just because it's at home. I'd love to see Cooper take over again. That was pretty fun to watch.

from Cecil Hurt's twitter: : "Andrew Steele is as fine a student-athlete as I have coached. He made a mistake, (but) it's no indication of who he is as a person."

Yeah, sounds like he'll be back.

Let Steele play the four on D.

And Murphy will have a size advantage over whoever we have guarding him at the 4 but he's a perimeter big, so its not a bad time to have a small 4. In fact, Cooper or Steele would do a much better job on him than Jacobs or Engstrom or Gueye.

All in all, its not a terrible matchup. We just have to keep them off the boards somehow.

Also one of their backup bigs, Yeguette, is out. So is Mike Rosario.

I'm thinking we see something like

Releford (assuming he will indeed be back)
Cooper
Randolph
Steele (assuming he too will be back)
Jacobs

I have decided that Cooper will one day be an NBA 2 guard.

I don't like our chances without Green, but at least we'll have Releford and Steele.

I'm actually becoming borderline cautiously optimistic, which will make the loss much much worse.

From looking at espn, Yeguette is their only backup big that gets any sort of regular minutes.

Gueye.

Will be surprised he sees much playing time. He played four minutes at LSU. If you can't get playing time that game, then there is an issue.

It all depends on how hot their guards get and whether we can contain them. Young will get his points against Jacobs, that's a forgone conclusion. But Jacobs needs to score and we'll need a few of our freshmen to step up again.

I think we still match up well against them. Florida lives and dies by the three...if we play good perimeter defense we have a great chance of winning

I would actually feel confident of a win if Green wasn't suspended. Florida doesn't seem to handle length and athleticism very well. Jacobs is many things, but an athlete isn't one of them.

frick it, I've convinced myself that we'll win

Good starting five but their bench will be Scottie Wilbekin, Casey Prather, and Cody Larson, the last two average under ten minutes a game.

Releford needs to step up and atone via a big game. We need his scoring. Cooper just needs to have a solid game, 30 points, give or take a few.

Yep. Just gotta hope they don't get hot and that we can make some 3s.

I don't think you have a 1 in 3 chance of winning WITH your suspended players.
