no doubt. I thought earnest shelton had a high arcing shot.

Yeah, i agree here, he gives great effort, would like to see it start falling his way.

Randolph needs to put on some weight and get stronger first and foremost. That will help him with driving to the basket and rebounding, which he is pretty adept at when given the opportunity. He has nice touch on floaters in the lane and 12-15 foot jumpers, but it really does seem like he has more shots rattle around and fall out than everyone else on the team combined.

Can we put him in the 4th quarter with Cochran?

I think Randolph and Cooper will both gain weight this offseason and I'd expect Lacey and Jacobs to lose weight this offseason.

Florida is extremely soft. You will not find a softer interior duo than Young and Murphy. Walker also sucks balls in half court games. Just keep Boynton and Beal off balance and it's a win.

Maybe for a month or two. We don't want him looking like a TE.

Speaking of which, isn't Vogler like 6'7"? Why the hell hasn't Grant stolen him yet? I know he was a good basketball player in HS. He doesn't like to block so it's not like he will ever get on the field anyway.

That's why I would have felt really confident if Green was playing in this game because I felt he would have had a huge advantage on Young.

I wish we could get more out of Gueye. He has great size and gives good effort but he's like an bull in a china shop. He's an offensive foul waiting to happen.

If we had no answer for Lsu's big, it's not looking too good for young.(although soft)
Anything can happen though. We just need releford & Hank & Cooper & Jacobs each to score double digits respectively.

I'm hoping this is a product of not playing basketball for two years. He'll have to be a lot better next year.

Yeah Hamilton did pretty much push Jacobs around, but maybe Jacobs can out physical Young and mess with his head.

Hai guys, this is what we all wanted right? No Green and Mitchell.

Anxious to see our style of play

In all my negativity, did I ever call for Green being gone too? If so, I regret doing it.

You've been MIA lately bro

Gueye has lousy feet. Very slow reaction to claim or reclaim position. Jacobs moves his feet ok he just has a 3 inch vertical.

We can overcome the loss of Mitchell but not Green. We need him back as soon as possible, I don't want a return to the NIT. I want to start a streak of NCAA appearances.

Young looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane. He was sleepwalking early in the game and getting destroyed in the paint. Then Donovan finally woke him up and got that look in his eye and started playing aggressively. A few minutes later Jarnell Stokes clotheslined him to the floor when he went up for a dunk. After that he was a non-factor. No toughness or fight.

And then there's Murphy, who just stands on the perimeter.

Hamilton is tougher than both.

I think that's the price for being out of basketball two years and maybe coming back from an ACL tear too quickly. If he can stay healthy all the way to next season, I expect him to look a ton better.

Agreed. Hopefully Green will be back for UT.

Ive been gone for awhile so heres my reaction to Saturdays L as far as making the Tourney goes.

We're in.

Selection committee won't frown upon that loss to LSU near as much as if we lost that game with AG playing those players, we can afford a L at Arky, and maybe @ Ole Miss..but I think that's it. Can't afford any letdowns at home. It'd be huge to win vs MSU at home and at Ole Miss. I think we can work our way up to 6 seed.

We finish 4th or 5th in SEC.

If we are 5th seed in the SEC we likely play SC first and then match with State or Vandy next round.

We can still save this season in a hurry, reminding me of 2003-2004 with all the letdowns but we are really yet to play our best ball and I believe it could happen sooner than later with the emergence of Hankerson and Cooper.

I think 7 seed is about as high up as we can move. Hopefully we can get this W against Florida tomorrow. That would really help our resume.
