help me out here Gamecocks

I guess I can live with Death Valley, the fight song. I'm sure there's room to disagree on who had what first. To my ears, Tiger Rag played by the Clemson band sounds rushed and not very good. Their costumed Tiger mascot looks more like an alien creature than a tiger (I may have him confused w/ the Auburn costumed mascot.)

But "Cajun Café"?? Really?

There is room to disagree on disagreeing apparently, but Clemson clearly had it first.

Clemson had Death Valley first and it's not really debatable

Maybe it's like Mardi Gras, it actually began in Mobile, but their MG pales in comparison to New Orleans MG.

"Cajun Café"?

Yea, when people think of Death Valley they think of Tiger Stadium.

From a reputation standpoint, we own it though.

only Clemson has a rock from the real Death Valley.

i never call Clemson's stadium 'death valley' though. Clemson is about the good life not death. :)

i feel confident that people who aren't LSU fans don't care about LSU and if they are the real death valley or not. lol LSU fans seem to think people obsessed with their football team.

most year, LSU's offense puts people to sleep so in that sense LSU is the real death valley. lol

If Clemson called their stadium "Death Valley" before LSU did, then so be it. How about playing Tiger Rag? Regardless, their version sounds rushed, and sucks.

But "Cajun Café"?! Their baseball stadium actually has something called that. Are they kidding?

a Presbyterian College football coached dubbed Clemson 'Death Valley' and it stuck. CU didn't come up with it.

it makes more sense CU is death valley given it is in the foothills of the mountains.

LSU is a flat area on a bayou. you should be Death Bayou.

Clemson always has and always will be a pretender. They live in a delusional world akin to Ole Miss fans. Clemsoning will always be a perfect verb for what they generally do down the stretch every season. Like I posted a few days ago, what happened last season is an outlier.

As someone that's been in parades in both cities, this is correct. But Mobile is still number 2. It'd be closer without those fricking barricades.

One thing about Clemson that would make them fit right in the SEC West is they cheat their asses off. They will give mom a job, give kids a book bag full of cash etc. Win at all cost. But with that being said, when I think Death Valley I think LSU and a rowdy arse packed stadium.

clemson been a better program than LSU the past 6 years or so.

didn't Clemsoning against LSU inthat bowl game, it was clutch city, with LSU players falling down on field with cramps or faking cramps to slow the game down, LSU players crying on the sideline.

LSU needs to focus on obtaining an offense rather than beating up on Clemson.
