Not really and not because of AU but more so AU may get screwed because of the national hate for SEC or as the media says SEC fatigue and because of UA getting in 2 years ago.

I guess the irony of the game. AU wins on the field proves they deserve the shot at the NC but UA still keeps them from going.

I don't remember that...the dominoes hadn't fallen yet

I DO distinctly remember the BCS countdown show after they announced Bama as #2 and in the BCS game in NoLa and the cutback to him looked like someone shite in his face

Because if this was the committee bama would be ranked 6th behind Okla St because they are playing for their conf championship.

Disagree. They may jump ahead of UA after next weekend to 4th and UA 5th but not this week they would not. No matter how you slice it right now UA is 11-1, Okie St is still 10-1. UA had the better loss at this point as well.

I have no issue if they jumped us next week if they beat OU. But they would not even with the committee next year.

Why?

Because either Baylor or Okie State will have won their conference. That should count for something. I'm not worried about it because if somehow Duke beats FSU then the apocalypse is imminent and there won't be a BCSCG.

Explain to me how winning a conference is important when a) it's a shite conference and b) there's no conference championship

The dominoes haven't fallen this year either. But that's not stopping the media from pushing for it once again

It's not gonna matter anyway. Bama's not getting in.

It isn't about scared. It's about having to reaccomplish something you've accomplished.
it's not even about that. it's about one program not being held to the same standards as every other program

not gonna lie, I'm starting to get a feel for why LSU was so incredibly angry in 2011.

You play in the SECCG while Alabama sits at home, effectively putting yourself at risk of knocking yourself out of the national title race while Alabama gets to sit at home and chill.

Assuming the wild events occur that could allow such a rematch to occur.

Well I agree, I just wanted to know if you had a legitimate reason or if you just didn't like Alabama. I got my answer

You're right. We don't want to play UGA, A&M, Ole Miss, Ark, UT, MIss St., WSU etc... again either. It's already been settled with those teams. Time to give someone else a chance to slow us down we already know all those teams couldn't.

yeah because we already beat Alabama. It's fun to play someone new.

And if you think Malzahn with a month to prepare this team is just going to lay down ala LSU 2011, you've lost your mind.

Stories like this are written to stir the pot and and get as many visits to the website as possible. This is so highly unlikely. What a waste of time and mental energy to write this piece of trash...

Just how powerful is the REC? Can they somehow make Duke beat FSU?

They placed an Alabama alumnus as the HC a Duke for a reason.
