Itd also be complete bullshite that the SEC CG loser who has 1 loss currently would get punished for winning their division but bama who gets a bye gets rewarded for not winning their division.
It would be about right though in the city of fraudulent titles.

If that were so Notre Dame should NEVER get in the BCSCG......they had a bye last season while Bama and UGA ripped into one another.

Notre Dame was undefeated UGA and Bama had 1 loss
You have only been the best team in your division 1 out of 4 years. You do not deserve a national title. The only reason you got in in that 1 year was because of OSU being ineligible. Your past 2 titles will be viewed with your 1941, 1964 titles and the like in 20 years

Well that's just patently false for one very obvious reason:
Bama won the championship games. You can argue til you're blue in the face about media and bias and blah blah but at the end of the day, Bama still had to actually go and win those games on a football field. And they did. Handily.

Notre Dame year after year plays one less game than most other teams and definitely does not run the gauntlet an SEC team does.

I just wanna play Oregon if we can't play for it all. No other match-up intrigues me... except if Duke and Mich. State become my 2 new favorite schools.
