Hitting the road with a bunch of burnt out 30 year old drunk guys that couldnt make it isnt exactly the best place for an 18 year old kid to develop his game

I guess attendance isn't THAT bad. We average roughly 3500+ for home games in a stadium that holds roughly 5500. That's only about 65% capacity though.
Our stadium sucks balls and was easily the worst in the SEC before Mizzou joined but renovations are supposedly coming.

College baseball has a very small following and is great for losing money. You could list track, women's basketball, wrestling, etc in its place and be just as legitimate.
LSU taught the rest of the SEC how to win and make money playing baseball.
Mississippi State was the best program before Skip Bertman came to LSU...
