Hey I thought I was pretty generous to the weight given to the secondary and tertiary sports.

Wait, this board tells me all the time that LSU is a terrible sports program?

Pretty good for Bama, considering the stereotype is that it's only a football school.

Baseball program definitely needs to get back to where it once was under Wells. Gaspard left nothing for Goff to work under, so we're likely going to post some historically bad numbers this year and miss the SECT.

Basketball has underachieved. Wimp would get us to the sweet 16, then choke. Should have made the final 4 in '76, but of course, the one team we face in the sweet 16 is the Hoosier's under Bobby Knight that finished undefeated. We have a top 5 class coming in next year, and Avery has done well his first two years, so we'll see what happens. Lots of SEC teams should improve next year (State, AU, and UT just to name a few).

Just saying I find listing college baseball in a big three as silly.

College baseball has a very small following and is great for losing money. You could list track, women's basketball, wrestling, etc in its place and be just as legitimate.

The results from the 3 threads already posted by me and Kyle.

It's clearly not definitive, but some thought was put into all of them and people seemed to generally think they were reasonable.

If we are listing 3 men's sports, what would you put over it?

It depends on where you live. College baseball is a niche sport, as is a sport like college hockey. What baseball is to LSU is what hockey is to Michigan. You look at the official attendance records by the NCAA, it's dominated by programs in the south. So I would say college baseball is definitely part of the big 3 here.

College golf needs to start getting some more recognition though.
