I wonder if Bama can stay disciplined enough to not allow Knight take off on the ground

If the Ags can take care of the ball (no turnovers) and Sugar Bowl T. Knight returns to form, then they have a good shot.

I think A&M comes out strong at first but as the game plays on Bama slowly wears down their defense in long sustaining drives.
Bam-35
A&M-24

The way Bama is playing on both sides of the ball, your assessment seems to be right on.

Using Arkansas as a template, I think Aggie has an opportunity to win it late if your offense is able to score 28 or more.

Like you said above, it will take your best of the season to get it done...especially on defense.

Knight already had his stephen garcia moment against bama back when he played for oklahoma. Unless he does that again bama is going to destroy a&m

If it were that close I wonder how far A&M would drop.

If it is that close...no need to sweat the polls.

Win or lose, this is the kind of match-up that makes us grateful to be a part of the SEC.

We were in 3 college GameDay games in the big 12 and this will be our 4th in the SEC

Aggie fans are a weird bunch. They trolll and talk shite to teams like LSU even though they are winless against. But a team like Alabama that they have competed with, they are quick to bow down and suck them off

I'd give us a 30% chance, and that might be a hair optimistic.

I hope we win. It would probably be our biggest win in any living person's lifetime.

I don't think A&M is better than Bama but I think it's a bad matchup for Bama.

I see either Bama blowout or A&M close win

Alabama is much better than LSU. Your post is equivalent to us laughing at Arky fans for being more worried about Bama than us.

Bama is going to stomp us.

I hope I'm wrong.

The Aggies chances next Saturday can be summed up in one thought. Can aTm keep Alabama's front four off Knight? If so, aTm has the weapons at WR to hurt Alabama. If Knight gets pressure all game aTm has no chance as they will have little to no success running the football. Reynolds, Kirk, Noil & Seals-Jones are potent weapons if Knight can get them the football. That being said, Alabama's offense looks damn near unstoppable.

Nobody knows the future. That may be the most likely outcome, but there is a chance we win.

Either a competitive game or blowout. If we play 4 quarters with no turnovers and have sustained, consistent drives on offense, I think it will be a competitive, close game with a possibility of a win. If bama shuts down the offense, it will be close the first half and our D will wear down in the second half for a blowout kind of like how the Tennessee 4th quarter played out.

Time of possession will be key. I think A&M covers the spread

A&M is soft against the run (109th in the rush defense component of S&P+) and Alabama has an elite rushing attack (3rd in rush offense S&P+). Trevor Knight isn't an efficient passer which is typically needed to beat Alabama.

A&M has the ability to make this a competitive game with their running game on offense and pass rush on defense. Their weaknesses are a bit more glaring than Bama's though; I don't really see this going all that well for them.
