Interesting that there's not another LSU RB on the top 50 until Harvey Williams at 46.

Interesting.

LSU top 13:4, Bama 0 (Note this will be top 10(8?) soon)
LSU top 50:5, Bama 6

I thought you guys were all about trophies, not runner-up certificates....

Any list of rbs that is not ordered by (or at least lists) ypc is pointless

2015 LF7 12 games/1953 yds/6.5 ypc
2015 Henry 15 games/2219 yds/5.6 ypc

So then last year LF7 was better than Henry. Is that what you are saying? Cause it sounds like that is what you are saying.

I see why you stopped at 13.

You realize that's still valid, right?

If an Alabama fan said, "Alabama has won 4 of the last 7 national championships." there would be nothing wrong, invalid or even misleading about it.

But some idiot would still ask, "Why 7?"

I'm really drawing a blank on any other big time players that came back for their senior year.

#2 on that list. Faulk was projected as a late 1st, early 2nd round pick after his junior season and came back because he said he promised his mother he would. Obviously not as high profile as Peyton Manning was, but still a surprise nonetheless. Tebow as well. It's rare, but it does happen, just not now as much as it used to

What was it someone was saying yesterday, about Alabama's lack of 1000 yard rushers in the NFL?

#1 LSU RB of all time - Faulk
Yet 13 seasons in NFL - 0 1000 yard seasons

#2 Dalton Hilliard - 8 seasons, 1 1000 yard season (in the 80s no less)

#3 Charles Alexander - 7 seasons, 0 1000 yard performances

3 greatest LSU RBs, 1 1000 yard season in 28

Shaun Alexander:
9 seasons, 5 1000 yard seasons, plus an MVP

LSU - RB Bust U?

Kevin Faulk played 13 seasons, that's not a bust, and he's in the Patriots HOF

Jim Taylor, NFL HOF

Harvey Williams, 1 1000 yard season in 1995
Domanick Davis, b2b 1000 yards seasons 2003-2004
Stevan Ridley, 1000 yard season in 2012
Jeremy Hill, 1000 yard season in 2014
Joseph Addai, b2b 1000 yard seasons in 2006-2007

Spencer Ware is on pace for a 1000 yard season this year

My all-time favorite stat for Herschel.

ZERO

That is the number of SEC games UGA and Herschel lost from 1980 to 1982.

I'd like to point out that only 1 of those running backs in OP won a national championship

How bout at the end of the season you make one for ALL the 4,000 yard rushers in the SEC. That way no one can cry because you left out certain players.

There will be eight of them with four from LSU.

Would have probably been top 5 if not for his injuries.

As much as I hated it. Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams were beasts! I had both of them on my fantasy team when they made it to the League.

11 Cadillac Williams also shared the same field with Ronnie Brown that year in a split RB scheme under Tuberville.

So did Darren McFadden maybe he would have been number 1

That didn't stop once he graduated either. I feel for the guy.

Look man, I didn't make the rules - it was an LSU fan who determined that a lack of 1000 yard seasons is the only metric to work with. Get onto your fanbase for saying Faulk was a bust.
