I think he is in an offense that he could generate huge numbers and maybe win a heisman.

can Marshall win the Heisman with his arm?

quote:I think it's significant to the discussion that these stats were accumulated without the benefit of playing against AU's weakest opponent (Western Carolina) and only a quarter against its second-weakest (FAU), in which he attempted only one pass.
Marshall was 142-239 for 1,926 yards with 14 touchdowns to 6 interceptions; and ran for 1,068 yards with 12 touchdowns last season.
It should also be noted that 4 of his 6 INTs came against MSU and LSU, both of which were played during his first two months on campus. He was also 40-64 (62.5%) for 563 yards and 2 TDs in those two games.
As for 2014, let's just say I'm cautiously optimistic that his passing will be improved.

You aren't trolling; you've actually made a good argument here. I watched the two missed touchdown opportunities before halftime versus A&M, and I know about the early touchdowns he barely missed versus Alabama and Florida State. With a little more control/accuracy, he could be dangerous on the deep ball.
