The only thing I see overrated in this thread is your knowledge of college football

So, qualifiers and still better numbers. Sound logic.

Good point. I believe Nick Saban is the best CFB coach in the land. However, there are those that think he could take any program in the SEC to the championship level and in that sense, even he is over-rated. Unreasonable expectations do in fact create the prospect of being over-rated.

thank you good sir, for restoring my faith in the reading comprehension of rant posters.

I don't know why so many people have a hard time with the idea of being overrated. Nobody is saying they suck, and by the very nature of the word overrated, people are going to have a difference of opinion. No need to get upset that somebody has a slightly different opinion about a football player.

Ah, that's my bad then. I skimmed over the introduction and went right to the list. What a dumbass list compiled by posters.

Well, I did say Henry's numbers were slightly better, so....

Slightly better being the point. Fournette is overwhelming voted as overrated and if that's the case the Henry certainly deserves to be on the list as well.

Exactly, and Fournette is overrated, but so is Henry. At least based off of what Bammer's were saying last offseason.

No, actually they are over a yard per carry better. I mean, I could easily manipulate LFs numbers to look worse, too.

Again, because of one game in 2013. Take out each players best game and each players worst. That would give you a nice medium and I bet the numbers are similar.

ETA: They are.

Henry 5.51 YPC
Fournette 5.16 YPC

Both, in the context of this thread, are overrated. DWI.

So you're saying one game causes Henry's ypc to be a yard better over his career?

Dropping his best game from 2013 puts his avg. at 6.3. Numbers don't lie.

Yeah I see where I messed up. I kept think 207 was his rushing total for 2013.

Either way, he's still overrated.

In the context of this thread, 1034 yds and 10 TDs is overrated. Therefore, 990 and 11 is as well.

Sorry you don't like it.

That's a prediction, or wishful thinking, on your part. He's not overrated which was what the OP was asking, not a prediction.

HW had a 5.5 ypc or something like that.

Ypc is meaningless without context.

To many people use these terms "over rated".

Both Henry and LF7 in a system like UGA would excel.

We all know a two year old can call LSU's O. No debating that.

Bamas scheme was centered much more around cooper, for good reason.

However it is not the fault of backs like Henry and LF7 for their system. Nothin those backs have shown is over rated. They just are not in feature back roles yet.

@Ole Miss 22-37 282 yds 1td 0int
22 carries 48 yds

So He's just overrated when he plays Ole Miss' defense?
