Post again in September and see if you can still make that claim. Teams are signing players right and left right now to fill bodies for mini-camp.

Can't argue with facts. Nevertheless, Robert Lester I believe will end up a starter. Solid post, by the way. Upvote.

quote:I agree. He played well last season when given a chance, and he has always seemed to display a nose for the ball despite limitations that NFL General Managers typically look for with measurables. The secondary is thin, and he's a young, upcoming player that is also pretty smart. I would definitely like for him to start.
Nevertheless, Robert Lester I believe will end up a starter.

How many of those players were on the 2010 bama D. Just wondering?

quote:
DE: Jesse Williams - Hasn't accumulated any stats yet, and current 2nd/3rd string at defensive tackle for the Seattle Seahawks.
His only season in the NFL he was on IR.
quote:
DT: Josh Chapman - 15 tackles in his career, and current 2nd string nose tackle for the Indy Colts.
IR his first year, second year he was the backup NG. Expected to be the starter this upcoming season.
quote:
DE: Damien Square - 4 tackles in his career, and current 3rd string defensive end for the Philly Eagles.
Actually, he was the backup NG behind Bennie Logan the last few games of the season.
quote:
JACK: Courtney UpShaw - 89 tackles and 3 sacks in his career, and current 2nd string outside linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens.
And one of the better at his position against the run.
quote:
ILB: Nico Johnson - 7 total tackles in career, and current 2nd string inside linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Actually, expected to start in KC's 34 next to Derrick Johnson this upcoming season.
They're doing alright overall. Only three of them are potential pro bowlers at this point (Barron, Milliner, and Hightower), but none of them are guarantees. Mosley was also sort of the Co-Starter with Nico next to Dont'a, and he's about to be a first round pick.

The Kansas City Chiefs signed Joe Mays to play alongside Derrick Johnson, FWIW.

Several of them were on the 2010 team? What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

CJ Mosley already on an NFL roster?

Not locked in as the starter, and most KC fans seem to think Nico will get the job. He was making noise for them in practice before the season started because he was flying around and knocking the hell out of people. It isn't crazy to say that if he hadn't got hurt in the preseason he would have saw more PT, because the battle with Jordan was a dead tie at that point.
