I wonder if you really care. Or if you now feel vindicated in your life for letting him know that his life shouldn't revolve around children(grown men now). Either way, you jelly.

I can't verify for sure, but 37 of the 43 starters (C. Gamble for OSU started both ways) for both teams in the 03 Fiesta were DRAFTED into the league. So I'm not sure if that would leave 1 guy out on each side of the ball etc, or if those guys made it into the league as free agents later, but both those teams were close on both sides of the ball

That Bama defense might have been the best ever

As far as statistics go, it was the best since 1950. But 2001 Miami is still better IMO.

In terms of talent that made it to the NFL? Probably. But the 2011 Alabama defense played better as a team. It was impossible to drive the field on them.

I mean, shite, they held Tennessee without a single first down in the second half of the game that year.

That miami squad didn't play a team that was in the same universe as LSU or the top half of the SEC all year even in the NC game. SEC was also very tough in 2011 as well.

THOSE 2 defenses would just choke the life out of ANY offense.

LSU specialized in the speed teams while Bama stone walled the power teams. Much respect to both regardless of #tDecline/Mulligan

Disagree with you a little there, I thought 2011 SEC was pretty weak per usual standards.

But it wouldn't have mattered. Nobody was moving on Bama or LSU that year. Two absolutely stacked defenses. Respect

He was the base starter at Sam.

Harris

Milliner
Menzie

Barron
Lester

Should all be considered "starters". The only problem is only 11 people can start any given game.

I actually found Rickdaddy on facebook when I was googling to find anything about him getting banned. I wanted to start a bait thread and one thing led to another in my search. Like 3 minutes later I realized how crazy of a man he is in real life.

Pretty amazing stuff, but let's look at the players and what they have done with their careers so far... Starting with the defensive line, and then going forward with the linebackers and secondary... I have to do it, I'm an Auburn fan.

DE: Jesse Williams - Hasn't accumulated any stats yet, and current 2nd/3rd string at defensive tackle for the Seattle Seahawks.
DT: Josh Chapman - 15 tackles in his career, and current 2nd string nose tackle for the Indy Colts.
DE: Damien Square - 4 tackles in his career, and current 3rd string defensive end for the Philly Eagles.
JACK: Courtney UpShaw - 89 tackles and 3 sacks in his career, and current 2nd string outside linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens.
ILB: Donte' Hightower - 157 tackles and 5 sacks in his career, and current starting inside linebacker for the New England Pats.
ILB: Nico Johnson - 7 total tackles in career, and current 2nd string inside linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs.
OLB: Jerrell Harris - Hasn't accumulated any stats, and current practice squad player for the Denver Broncos (info is kind of sketchy here).
CB: Dre Kirkpatrick - 34 tackles, 3 interceptions and 1 defensive touchdown in career, and current 3rd cornerback for the Cincy Bengals.
CB: DeQuan Menzie - Has not accumulated any stats, and current question mark with Carolina Panthers.
CB: Dee Milliner - 56 tackles and 3 interceptions in his career, and current starting cornerback for the New York Jets.
SS: Mark Barron - 177 tackles, 2 sacks, and 3 interceptions in his career, and current starting safety for Tampa Bay Buccs.
FS: Robert Lester - 21 tackles and 3 interceptions so far in his career, and current role player for Carolina Panthers.

Courtney Upshaw, Donte Hightower, Dre Kirkpatrick, Dee Milliner, and Mark Barron seem to be moving at the right pace thus far in their careers. Some have hit the injury bug, some have had trouble finding a fit, and some have been just what they needed to be. Robert Lester might earn a starting position soon, and I look for Jesse Williams to contribute soon.
