You're right, not everyone can be the first to get shut out in the BCSNCG and the first SEC team to lose in it

No doubt but at least my team has 2 of the conferences' 8 BCS Championships. How many does Arky have again?

And yet you were still embarrassed on national television with the whole nation laughing as ol' Leslie looked like a deer in the headlights

Thanks for a breakdown, didn't expect that until at least page 3. Johnson and Mosely are names I remember, but it seems like the DB may be the weakness. Collins has all the skill, you think he will be ready for Arky in Wk 3 if needed?

You'll see a lot of us compare this year to 2010 and it mainly because of the DBs. The 10 group had more raw talent. I think this group will be more disciplined but what the hell do I know. We've got a couple of juco DBs to help out too so hopefully it won't get too ugly.

For Collins, it won't be about when he's physically ready (he's ready now), it will be Saban picking the right spots to get him comfortable with the packages. If he picks it up quickly I could see him getting in on a regular basis by the Arky game but I don't think it's likely.

DL- Williams, second year starter. Top two rounds
DL- Square, second year starter
DL- Stinson/Dial, Stinson a JR with two starts and playing time in almost twenty games. Dial(SR) played in all games last year, 24 tackles.

LB- Nico Johnson(SR), fourth year starter. Best tackler on teams last two years. Going for third ring as a starter. Top three rounds.

LB- CJ(JR), best player on defense. Could be round one pick.

LB- Dickson, Hubbard, Depriest will all be playing the other two spots. All very talented. Depriest led team in tackles the first game of his career.

S- Lester, three yr starter. Top two rounds
S- Sunseri(SO), Played over50% of snaps last few games of last year.
CB- Milliner(JR), started about 17 games. First round possiblity
CB- Fulton,Belue, Dixon will all see playing time in nickel. Belue and Dixon are JC transfers.

Ok, don't think Michigan will challenge ya'll too much. However, if Arky still has their top notch passing game it will be interesting if Collins and other unproven DB's get isolated. It all means nothing though if the pass rush is in Wilson's face all day though which I am sure will be as good as usual.

We will be better at LB than we were in 2010 that is for sure. Nico Johnson, CJ Mosely, Adrian Hubbard, Trey Depriest all have plenty of playing experience. Keep in mind that Donta Hightower was injured for most of the 2010 season and that hurt us because we werent as deep as we are now.

The seconday will be much better than 2010 but there still may be some mistakes made but we will still have one of the top defenses on the field.

I can't imagine Collins getting any meaningful playing time that early in the year.

Lester, Sunseri and Dix will be the top three safeties.

Honestly I doubt our receivers will be ready. Cobi is really the only guy out there who will have a good amount of experience playing and our two games before Bama won't be enough to prepare them.

It will still be a great game though
