Had Oklahoma State made that field goal against Iowa State, then Alabama wouldn't have won last year's NC. You can play this dumb game all day with different results.

We beat the crap out of them for a half, and they returned the favor and won by 1 point. We had so many almost miraculous errors from fumbles to dropped TD's, to an easy INT that went for a TD for AU, etc that had we made even one of those plays, we win. My point isn't that Bama deserved a NC in 2008 or 2010, just that we were very close both of those years. Much closer than most realize.

This is exactly why everyone hates Alabama fans...because it is never enough. 9 championships. Not enough. Call it 14, or 40, or whatever. 2 out of the last 3, soon maybe 3 out of the last 4 with a repeat? Not enough, let's talk about how we should have won them all. Just won the national championship? Not enough. Let's celebrate for 30 minutes then spend the next 9 months kicking dirt on everyone else.

False. My point was to show how Bama is literally a couple of plays one way or the other away from playing for(and winning, since we don't lose NC games, unlike LSU) every single year now. This is a golden era for us, and we need to enjoy and appreciate it. That's my point.
