i don't see where auburn won the title in 57....hell, auburn wasn't auburn back then and they still claim it

That's what is great about the Auburn fan calling out some of Alabama's poll titles that were awarded before bowl games, under the process at the time. AU's 1957 AP title was awarded to them when they were on a post-season ban.

Yeah, Auburn was on probation and couldn't go to a bowl game. The AP gave Auburn the title and UPI gave the title to Ohio State.

During a telecast last week ESPN said Bama had 8 official titles, one more and they would either take the lead, or tie ND for the lead in titles. ONLY Bama fans claim 13

Since I was old enough to know what football is, this is not the case. Anything that happened when there were no rules and teams won at any cost are not apart of my past or anyone else who is 30 years old or younger. It is not denying history; it is denying history that has nothing to do with today. If you do not see the difference then we will always disagree.
