Baton Rouge has great food. Mike the Tiger is awesome and Tiger Stadium is a fun place to watch a game.

It is the "game" every year in college football. All others should take note of how football should be played. This year will be no different. Two teams beating the pis* out of each other. It is not for the pansies such as Notre Dame or Oregon.

LSU fans are the best opposing fans to tailgate with.
The High school I graduated from uses official "LSU Purple" as the main color (along with white/black/silver) so I've always had a fondness for the color. LSU should wear their purple jerseys more.
LSU fans are always welcoming/have a great sense of humor towards our rivalry.

I like having a team to root against every week. Bama isn't a "rival" but they are at least hatable. I like that about them.

The LSU student body as a whole is into sportsmanship first. They are knowledgable about football, appreciate the finer points, and do not engage in simplistic baiting like so many fan bases. That is probably one reason the TV networks like to broadcast from Tiger Stadium.
In even numbered years, it is very rewarding to walk around LSU wearing an Alabama shirt. Great conversation about the finer points of college football, good natured bantering and a general feeling of acceptance and welcome. All in all, an Alabama game at LSU is an exciting, comfortable family enivornment that I would not hesitate to take my 7 year old daughter to, wearing an Alabama jersey.

I always had a great away game experience in Tuscaloosa. The Greek community throws great parties and there is cocaine everywhere. Great times.

I like that this game is essentially the national championship every year. CBS night game 3 straight years, will be gameday for the 4th straight meeting. Undoubtedly the 2 biggest fastest and strongest teams in NCAAF. Grown man football
