Have you seen the SEC schedule for that week? The best alternative is either Arkansas/Texas A&M or Mississippi State/Georgia.

I thought every team had to be on cbs at least 1 time every x seasons. Was that the old cbs contract?

That's never been part of their contract. In fact, this is only the 6th time Vandy will have been on CBS since they started carrying games. At one time they went from 2001 until 2013 between broadcast on CBS.
