The announcers kept saying new rules. So that is what I am going off of.

I'm not buying it either. IMO, the refs would be more inclined to change the way they call games than players changing the way they play. Freedom of motion? There isn't much motion going on when whistles are being blown like they are.

Obasohan was a man. We really needed Dunans to be guarding him most of the night.

Auburn is going to need some of those injuries to come back, or Purifoy to magically become eligible if we want to win in Tuscaloosa.

Yeah, Roger Klarvin longs for Bama dick to ride. It's the strangest thing.

I think he has secretly abandoned all hope with A&M. Even though they won in basketball, he will cry himself to sleep that Alabama lost.

Bama guys can you please tell them your dick is not a pacifier? I know it must be annoying.

I could definitely be wrong. I thought they just changed the way they were calling fouls with a heavy emphasis on removing hand checking and riding or bumping the ball handler with the body.

To be as strong as he is and taking to the hole as hard as he did, his touch was incredible. Very impressed with him.

I can handle no hand checking, but you can't play defense without being able to bump or ride someone a little. Especially when offensive players know this and initiate contact.

Well you only have to play Bowers one more time, but Canty has another year

Apparently a ref can stand right next to a PG getting raped and not see a foul

Crazy to overturn but the original call was wrong.

Original call was wrong. He didn't travel, but it's still a crazy overturn.

Regardless of officials, this is another game Alabama has failed to finish at the line. Just like the Vandy game, you can't go 7-20 at the charity stripe and expect to win. I've expressed my disdain for the conference officials for the longest time, but Alabama could have won, or given themself a better chance at winning, if they would have shot better.

With all that said, Canty was a monster and Bama had no answer for Bowers. Stopping Canty, or at least containing him, was going to be a hard task. Having Bowers come in and get a double-double is frustrating.

Wasn't just a double double either.. 20 and 18 are big daddy stats I understand the free throw frustrations. We've got the same problem most nights.

This series will be split once we play in Tuscaloosa

Read an article this morning that referenced the January 2013 game in which AU beat Bama 49-37. So, even though the whistles made the game harder to watch than it should have been, it could have, and has, been worse.

Man I hope not. We don't have very many reasonably winnable games left on the schedule. That is one of about 6.
