Can't really say the same thing about the two deep for the '16 front seven.

Allen, Payne, Tomlinson, and Hand are back on the DL. All played a lot, Allen and Payne were starters depending on the set. That said we're obviously gonna miss the push and experience provided in the middle by Robinson and Reed. On the edges though I think we'll be better.

Again

What made the bama '15 "D" (front seven) so good is the fact that the two deep played together for two seasons '14 and '15.

tide will always have a very talented and strong starting group. It's just that going into the '16 season the backups aren't as experienced as what they had in '15.

Didn't read the thread but Bama probably has at least 10 kids on the roster that would be fine at running back. Dime a dozen in the Southeast

LOL. Burton Burns has got this. Look at the RBs the guy has developed. I am far more worried about QB and Center on offense.

Emmons will be in the mix if he qualifies. The year we took 4 backs and only one of them stayed killed our depth

It's a shame because Tyren Jones and Alvin Kamara are both quality players. If they were more patient and controlled themselves off the field, they would have gotten plenty of playing time. Scarbrough/Jones/Kamara would have been a terrific trio.

Didn't Ole Miss take the RB that Bama wanted to replace the kid with grade problems?

Alabama wanted Pennamon, but ended up with Joshua Jacobs out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. But Emmons is actually going to qualify now, so it all worked out.

He had 10 less carries than Rawleigh Williams last year and we were able to already tell that RW3 has chance to be really good. Harris did not make that same impression at all with better talent around him.

I don't know who Rawleigh Williams is, but Harris played behind the 8 ball last year. All of his reps came with 2nd and 3rd string linemen when the game was out of hand..meaning the defense knew we were just going to hand him the ball. I bet Harris was only in the game for 1 or 2 passing plays last year.

Stupidity is winning this morning. When was the last time that Bama didn't have a good running back?

I don't like them as much as the next, but you got to be stupid to try and discredit obvious success.

Before the Bama game yall told us LSU had an awesome Oline.

THANK YOU.

God, all we heard was how awesome the OL was and how Brandon Harris was a superior QB and LSU had the entire package.

After the game? "No, no - we suck, our OL blows, Harris can't throw a forward pass... it's LF or bust."

Bo and Harris are both 5-star kids and will make a great tandem. Emmons and the kid from Oklahoma will add nice depth. Biggest concern is center and a QB establishing himself before mid season like last year. Defense will be top 5 again, and both specialists return. Good luck, SEC, good luck.

He won a National Championship as a starter and a Heisman. Would you take that?

Let's put it another way. If I told you Alvin Kamara would win the Heisman next season and bring Tennessee a national Championship, would you give up Hurd? My guess is yes.

Well hell yeah. Makes sense.

Give me a rundown on the front seven BACKUPS at bama going into the '16 season and compare that to what bama had as backups going into the '15 season.

Let's cut to the chase. Unless something really unusual happens with the QB selection/transition, you can pencil Alabama on top of the pile, then start discussing who can give them a run for the money....same old, same old.

Must have been super low to begin with because his high score was a 19.

What happens in those scenarios?

If the kid is making his grades, shouldn't he be eligible?

Not just depth on Dline but, the whole front seven.

Have you lost what little lame mind god granted your institutionalized parents to pass on to their little retard?

Damn, son, Alabama will field 5 LBs all of which are 5-star, all of which are at least four-years in the program. Alabama has NEVER had a linebacker corps this deep and experienced... never... and OMG that is saying a lot.

The DEs will be the best in the league, maybe nation...at least two deep, maybe three deep.

The DL will return players 2-deep who would have made up the second best DL in the nation last year, behind the Alabama starters.

The entire secondary including nickel, were 5-stars out of high school, and most have at least two years in the program.

On paper, Alabama's defense next year is better than the one you saw this year.

Why can't LSU fans figure out how to look at other school's returning roster? Seems like they only know how to look at who has departed... LSU Fan, 2006: "Alabama will be terrible at QB because Joe Namath graduated..."

hey jack

How bout you put some names and numbers to go along with all those *s.

Tell me what all those projected BACKUPS on the front seven have done so far at the capstone.

I know the starters are rock solid. I want to know what those oh so experienced second and third teamers have done.

Almost forgot

BROSS MON CHU!!!!

I'm sure someone from new orleans knows that phrase translates to.
